The Tory Burch Bel Azur sample and Prada Candy sample came with my last Sephora haul. The Tory Burch perfume was a perfect summer scent with notes of citrus. It came in a mini spray bottle. It reminded me a little of Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue. The Prada Candy sample was a mini roller ball. It’s similar to a musk – it’s scent is heavy and more appropriate for colder weather. I liked it, and actually preferred it. However, the packaging is misleading – it has lipstick graphics on it so for a hot minute I thought it may be a lip gloss.
Happy Hump Day, errybody!
I spotted this article on Buzzfeed about beauty. Of course my ears perked up. The article is titled, “27 Charts That Will Help You Make Sense Of Makeup“. It has charts on everything from mascara wands to what type of foundation to use. I’m including my favorite chart from this series called, “Eye Makeup Brush Cheat Sheet” originally created by Makeup.com. (Because, to be honest, I always confuse my foundation brush with my eye shading brush.) The link to the Buzzfeed article is here: http://bzfd.it/18lyUMw
