I was pleased to stumble across this beauty line in Walmart. I’m always on the lookout for something new, and these products all ranged between $3-4. I went with a decidedly coral theme for some reason.
I purchased the Matte Lipstick in Extreme Coral, the Matte Lip Lacquer in Crush, and the Lip Glace in Mandarin Orange. The lipstick was somewhere between a cream lipstick and a matte lipstick. It went on and felt like a cream lipstick, but it didn’t dry out like a matte lipstick. Also, the color lasted for hours. In fact, it took some washing to make it actually come off.
The Matte Lip Lacquer lasted the longest, like well into the next day even after brushing my teeth. It reminded me of NYX’s Liquid Suede line because it provided a real matte look, but without the extreme drying effect.
The Lip Glace did smudge, as glosses tend to do, and was sticky, as glosses usually are. I did like the packaging. The thin, oval shape fits so easily in your purse without taking up space. I also liked that it was called “lip glace” instead of gloss. Little touches like the name or the packaging is really a final straw between me purchasing an underdog product like this, or something for CoverGirl.
Also, as a plus, the product line is cruelty-free!
