The products in my Birchbox this month were all quite good, but I definitely had my favorites. Most of what I got was geared toward my hair and skin. In this post, I’m gonna list my top three favorite products.
1) Miss Jessie’s Original Pillow Soft Curls – Full Size $22 – Available online or in Target, this product absolutely rivals my all-time favorite It’s A 10. Not only did it keep my curly/wavy hair in check, but used in conjunction with the PARLOR Sea Salt Spray, there was virtually no frizz. In fact, the first time I tried this combo as opposed to my It’s A 10 and Argan Oil routine, I didn’t wash my hair for almost five days. And the thing is, my roots didn’t even look greasy. I’m gonna seriously consider buying this when I run out of product.
2) PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Moisturizing Sea Salt Spray – Full Size $24 – I like the scent of this product, even though it reminds me of Myrtle Beach. (I can’t hate on Myrtle Beach, but I’m still glad I moved away, haha.) I like that it’s light and doesn’t weigh my hair down, which hey, it’s a sea salt spray, so what do you expect? Mainly, I really only like this because of what it does with the Miss Jessie’s product.
3) Naobay Oxygenating Cream Moisturizer – Full Size $36 – I had recently suffered a mild eczema outbreak on my hands due to incessantly washing dishes. This lotion really helped cure that. It absorbed directly into the skin within a couple of minutes. I’m almost done with my sample bottle and I’m actually kinda bummed about it. Also, it smells like Froot Loops, and I like that.
